In short: Switching casino platform means moving your brand, players, balances and content from one provider to another without closing the cashier. Spinlab Studio runs your casino on one back office with games, payments, bonuses and KYC built in, so a switch is a planned project: you agree what moves, reconcile every balance and cut over when traffic is lowest.

This page is for operators who already run a casino and are thinking about moving to Spinlab. It covers why operators switch, what changes when you move, what to settle with your current provider first and what the plans cost. For the step-by-step project plan, read our casino platform migration checklist.
Why operators switch platform
- Missing products. The current platform cannot add the games, payment methods, crypto rails or sportsbook a market needs.
- Costs that grow faster than revenue. Revenue-share terms that looked small at launch take a large share once the brand grows.
- A back office that slows the team down. Reports, bonuses and player management that need a developer for every change.
- A stalled roadmap. Features you were promised do not arrive, and you cannot build them yourself.
What you get after the switch
| Area | On the Spinlab platform | Agreed on the demo call |
|---|---|---|
| Brand and domain | Your own custom domain, or a free yourdomain.spinlab.studio address; hosting on 40 edge servers is included | Front-end design and how your current templates are matched |
| Games | 5,000+ slots, live games and game shows through integrated aggregators such as Hub88 and ST8; original games from Scale | Which of your current providers and titles are available for your markets |
| Payments | Local payment support on every plan; crypto and fiat payments on the same back office | Which methods move with you and which are added |
| Players and KYC | Automated KYC from the Scale plan | Which player, balance and KYC data can be imported, and in what format |
| Bonuses and loyalty | Bonus engine; loyalty, VIP manager and promocode systems from Scale | How running bonuses and VIP tiers carry over |
| Sportsbook | Sportsbook integration on Dominate, with a FeedConstruct feed | Open bets and markets at cut-over |
| Integrations | Webhooks and full API access from Scale | Your CRM, affiliate and reporting connections |
Settle these with your current provider first
- Exit terms in writing. Notice period, the data export you are entitled to, its format and the date you receive it.
- Who owns what. The domain, the brand, the player database and the content on your site.
- Player balances. How real-money and bonus balances held in the provider’s wallet are handed over, and who signs off the totals.
- Licence implications. Whether your licence or its approvals name the current platform, and what your regulator needs before a change. How licensing is handled with Spinlab is set out in the contract.
- Affiliate and payment contracts. Which agreements sit with you and which sit with the old provider.
How a switch is planned
- Demo and product map. Walk through the back office with your current product list and markets, and mark what is ready, what is configured and what is open.
- Data plan. Agree which records move (players, balances, KYC status, bonus state, history) and how each total is reconciled.
- Build and test. Your brand is configured on Spinlab while the old site keeps trading; payments and withdrawals are tested end to end.
- Cut-over. Freeze, export, import and reconcile in a window chosen for low traffic, with a rollback plan.
- Keep your search traffic. Map every old URL to its new one and add 301 redirects so rankings and links carry over.
Timelines depend on your data and markets and are set on the demo call. The migration checklist covers each step in detail, and the back-office guide shows what to compare in the tools you will use every day.

Switching platform FAQ
Can I keep my domain and brand?
Yes. Spinlab runs on your own custom domain, so players keep using the address they know, provided you control the domain under your current contract.
Will my players have to register again?
That depends on the data your current provider exports. Which player, balance and KYC records can be imported is agreed on the demo call.
What happens to player balances?
Every real-money and bonus balance is totalled at the freeze, imported and reconciled, and both sides sign off the figures before the cashier reopens.
Will I lose my search rankings?
Not if every old URL redirects to its new page with a 301 and your content moves with it. Plan the URL map before cut-over.
How long does a switch take?
It depends on your data, markets and products. The timeline is set on the demo call once the data plan is agreed.
Do I need a new licence?
Check with your regulator whether a platform change needs approval under your licence. How licensing is handled for your brand is set out in the contract.
